Total loss of power 92 yamaha

I have a 92 yamaha waverunner, we took it out yesterday and it was surging and not reaching full speed, after a while it finally started running at WOT. Shortly thereafter my son fell off and rolled it over, it started right up but then once again would barely go over 5 mph at WOT. Any ideas?

sounds like water in the fuel tank, or fuel starvation.

I have a 92 WR3 and same thing last year. It turned out to be just the spark plug boots and connector inside the boot, trim the wire back about 1" then install new boots. Runs better then ever. Good Luck...
