Tohatsu Remote Control Box

Hi
Can I use a Tohatsu Remote Control Box from a 50hp TLDI outboard on my Tohatsu 9.8hp 2stroke manual start.
I belive I can but need to do something to the neutral safety switch and electrical wiring harness?.
I don't need any electrics just the stop control.

The box is the same. If you do wire it up it does require that new neutral safety switch and the ignition wiring harness.
