Sea Rider, water did flow right under the plate as it should per your input. I di not have to raise OB. Thanks again for help. boater1234, thanks will do that. I am very handy with that kind of thing so would be no problem. Great idea on tape underneath!

Thanks you also for confirming that, that's the sweet lowerr leg spot for all Tohatsu OB's and rebadged ones. Sometines this ideal height is perfectly matched, most times doesn't, going for height optimization along a prop maximization is entirely up to boater if wanting boating perfecttion with Tohatsu OB's.
