i have a 15.4 by 54 wide peterborough wood runabout it weighs about three hundred pounds would a 59 35 lark be to big for it remote steering closed bow i think model is called a sportabout

If that is a full dress runabout(front deck,middle deck rear deck I would think a 35 would be a good match.not much bearing on the Peterborough but the 57 14ft Crestliner was rated for 35 hp whether tiller or remote.

I too would think a 35 hp would probably be a good match. Most of the 15-16' Peterborough runabouts I see have something between 25-40 hp.
