Three questions about radar installation..<br />1) Can your typical marine mechanic be trusted to install the radar correctly such as leveling the radar antenna properly for the how the particular boat will ride and moving other antenna/lights etc if they are closer than the prescribes 3 foot minimum?<br /><br />2) How DOEs one level a radar properly for how the particualr boat rides. Does it make that much of a difference?<br /><br />3) I have a light right in the middle of my T-top and a Gps antenna on the port side. If the radar antenna goes in the front middle, it will block out the light and be less than 3 feet from the GPS antenna. How should this be handled typically. (I've heard people say just raise the radar antenna but I cannot imagine what that will look like raises it 18 inches or so. Seems weird. What would it be sitting on, etc, Then what abot the lioght) Thanx for your help.
