Threaded Holes above and below prop - 1979 70 HP Johnson

I took off my propeller for some maintenance and noticed there are two threaded holes above and below the prop shaft. What are these for?

For pulling the bearing/seal after removing bolts deeper in the cavity.

Factory holes for using a puller.------Great when they design easy to repair stuff !!
