Hi

A lot of marine stuff is,-- for safety reasons diffrent.

My question is about the thermostat ,

Can the standard automotive 4 cylinder gmc thermostat
take the place of the more expensive Marine one?

are they the same ? diffrent ?
what advantage has the marine thermostat.

The one in my car costs 6 bucks, and I pull the boat with it,
yet the boat one costs over 20 smackers and I never pull the car :?

any input welcome thanks :)

got a lotta free time ?

If your engine has closed cooling the auto tstat will be fine. Just get the temp setting right.
