Mercruiser 3.7L/470 1981...
My temp gauge on the dash does not work. I would trace the lines back and find out where they go, but they aren't hooked up behind the dash
The PO told me he did a lot of re-wiring. It looks like he did more bad than good.
Anyway, my question is whether the temperature comes from the thermostat, or if there is a separate temp sender somewhere on the motor. Where would I look for this? What does it look like?
