When switchboxes go bad, is it possible for it to work one trip, not work on the next and then start to work again. My 1992 V-6 150 Merc ran perfect one week, then the next time out the right 3 cylinders wouldn't fire. Last week I swapped the wires on the switchboxes and the same 3 cylinders still wouldn't fire. I decided to test run it today before buying a new switchbox and it ran on all 6 cylinders and ran perfect. Does this sound like a switchbox problem? Thanks, Joe.
