Suspicious lubricant color in lower unit ('89 OMC King Cobra)

I checked the lubricant level and condition last weekend and it is fine ... well, except for the greenish color. The color is consistent, though. Does not look like water in oil or anything. Haven't noticed what color it was before.<br /><br />I know that they make lubricants of different colors but I have never seen anything green before. I'm confused :eek: <br /><br />Thanks for any answers.<br />Lou

No worries. Iv seen green many times. If its Milky then you worry.

I run quicksilver in my Mercruiser and it too has a greenish tint to it, even when fresh. Just the way it is. I wouldn't worry.
