I have been shocked more times then I can remember, from cars and boats. The other day after putting my motor back together I fired it up. It had spark on the top but not the bottom. So while checking for spark from the wire, I could not see any, my hand slipped and pop. I got a reminder of how much electricity flows through the wires. Since there was now spark I put the wire back and the motor started and ran fine. I have started it every day and it only takes a few cranks. Has anyone else ever had this happen, engine work after getting shocked? I am thinking maybe I should try this on the Merc I am working on and see if it fixes the missing spark problem it has. Should I worry about it loosing spark when I take it out to the lake for a test run? Thanks.
