I am about to winterize my motor and in the manual it says to pour a couple ounces of oil in each cylinder. I assumed everybody fogged the motor these days. Is that how the rest of you lube the cylinders for storage?

For winter storage does manual says to drain fuel from carbs and fuel lines, change crankcase and tail oil, grease all sliding parts too ? If so, is a must do. With engine on fog fogging oil through carb intakes untill engine dies. If product is not availabe, 1-2 Oz will be sufficient per cylinder.

If lubbing manually, assume triming engine parallel than vertical will help to better distribute oil once poured in to coat pistons head and cylinder walls evenly while rotating engine electrically or with rope.
