Steering ?????

My boat currently has a Teleflex Safe T rotary helm. Is the Teleflex NFB rotary helm compatible with my current steering cable?

I did some reasearch and it looks like they all use the same SSC62XX ( XX is length cable) Your existing helm unit feeds the cable on top or bottom ?

It comes out the bottom and is held in by a threaded collar on the cable.

I have the same problem, all the NFB helm units have the cable attached to top not bottom

I ordered the whole kit. Didn't want to take the chance and didn't want to wait any longer.

I just finished installing it with the existing cable and it works great
