Steering problem ? Seems "seized"...

My '81 Sunrunner has a V6 OMC - not sure what the leg is...however, I am having steering issues. I get full deflection to the left , but maybe only 20% to the right. Yesterday it seemed to be stuck altogether, but came free with some movement left and right. What should I be looking for ?

Just fixed mine and it turned out to be the Cable and Back Mount Rack. (the part under the dash that attaches to the steering wheel) Iboat has them. I needed a 15' cable set up. The length of cable needed should be stamped on the cable itself. Good Luck
