We have to be careful, Hartz. Threads like this are always in danger of being shutdown because it pushes the forum rules. Thanks.

It would be nice if the people who post parts for sale would contact a mod to edit their posts if their parts are no longer available. It would also be nice if new members ( and some who forget from time to time) would remember to use private messages only to discuss possible transactions. I like this thread and would like to see it continue.

Thanks iboats for letting us cobble together our old and wore out crafts through threads like these as well as with the new parts you all offer on the website.

TN - If they post parts for sale, a Mod will edit it. This happens forum-wide. Sometimes a sanitizing edit, sometimes a deletion - Depends on the coin toss sometimes.

Feel free to PM me or jbcurt00 to delete a post. He and I are kind of the Starcraft den mothers. Another way is to flag the post asking for a deletion. All Mods get flag notifications and it takes seconds to delete the post.

We all know what this thread is for, just choose words carefully. I saw one the other day in this thread about finding a part in his backyard asking for PMs - A good way to avoid grief. Always PM if you have interest, no need to post a message except to tell the "hoarder - LOL" he has a PM if you don't get a timely response.

Thanks guys.

Sorry, but my last resource that had them has been out of stock for nearly a year. Best of my knowledge, NLA...

Repair and powdercoat or rechrome if you have them....

Restoring a 1965 Starcraft Nassau going well, but need a couple of things. Most important, at least 1 chrome windshield attachment (bracket?) the type with a small bolt end going thru the windshield & a screw going thru the nose of the boat. Also the plastic cable protection grommets that protect cables going thru the hull. Oh Yes and since its almost Christmas (shooting for the Moon here) at least one green Starcraft back to back seat. Have not figured out how to download pictures on here yet but any info would be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas

Welcome aboard.

First off - This thread isn't for buying/selling SC or any parts because our rules prohibit buying and selling.

The grommets are carried in the iBOATS store http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Parts-Acc...grommets&s=sol and I think the windshield brackets are as well, but I can't find them right now. Found them - http://www.iboats.com/Hidden-Hold-D...818245--session_id.899105188--view_id.1184449

Good luck finding Starcraft lounge seats, at least in any worthwhile condition. The store does have replacement seats, but not with any Starcraft matching patterns.

Hey mate, glad to have you here. We chatted yesterday on kijjiji ;]
Open a free account at photobucket here.... http://photobucket.com/
There you'll be able to upload your photos to post here, once uploaded in photobucket just copy the url link [right click the uploaded pic itself and copy the bottom selection] to paste here in your post. The rule is you have to have a minimum of 3 posts in the forum. Easily achievable with so many interesting subjects here.
Good luck and have fun!

I have a set of bow rails off an 82 6ft StarCraft that I won't be using. I'm looking for a right side windshield for it

PM, PM and at the risk of repeating myself, PM.

A 6ft SC must have itty-bitty bow rails.

I have some WEFCO rub rail stuff that is not going to work out for me. I have 43' of 0013 1/2G, and 37' of 0011G insert. It's a little smaller than it appeared in the PDF and it's a lot more flexible than I desired. It's definitely rubber and not plastic. Basic dimensions are 3/4 X 7/16".

That doesnt look like an SC compatible rubrail, not just wrong size but wrong shape too.

As I noted, it's not working out for me. The plan was to use it as a replacement for the inside gunnel rub rail, which needed to be a few feet longer after I opened up the bow.:)

GA_Boater:

I had "2 messages" at the top of the page, but nothing was there when I clicked on them:confused:

Try again if still interested.

Thanks

Bunny, my quote and GAs quote of your post is what sent you a 'notification' message, not a normal PM.

GA was reminding you and those that might have an interest to handle it via PMs only, not in the open foeum. I doubt he meant he'd sent you a PM.

Thanks for describing where you'd intended to use it. Might work there....

You should get another notification message because I quoted you
