39 days. In my dreams! I'll still be looking at hard water. More likely will be 39 times 2.

Somewhat Spring-like the last two days here in Alabama. My boat slip opens for business April 1 and I plan to be there.

We're having our "winter" this weekend. Only supposed to get into the low 50's Friday. :cold: Brrrr! Spring will be next weekend - with highs in the 70's.:laugh:

I hear you, tonight's low is going to get down to around -10 to -15 degrees, I had enough of this, its time for a change now. I just ordered a new rod and other tackle from Cabela's, I am ready to fish, but not ice fishing lol

Maybe instead of spooling your reel with monofilament, use Nichrome wire and sent a voltage through it... :fish2:

Astronomically there may be 39 days until spring but weather wise I believe spring may have begun here in north central Florida. Looking at temps in the 70's today and tomorrow. Just may have to pull the rig over to Lake Santa Fe today. She has been in dry dock since mid-December. That is pretty much the schedule in this region. 10 months of boating, 2 months of R&R.
