I just noticed something. How can it be a tow truck if she does not have the hardware to tow anything? LOL

Because I "Tow" my boat and I "Tow" my camper.

Hey Gary, that new 6 speed is pretty slick.
I like the "shift" on the shifter gadget.
Don't know what the professinal name is for it but I like it, specially when you use the "engine brake" while slowing down.
It was Dodge at Wilkesboro.
The one at Hickory are good people also.

I have heard that new trans was the deal. I can't wait until i get my next new work truck.The 06 i have now is a great truck but the tranny wasn't the greatest.
Dodge had to compete with GMs 6 speed Allison. But the Cummins is one bad a** engine..

Hey SuperNova, I have looked at all the stickers on this truck and can not find the gear ratio.
It has the 11.50 rear end.
Can you tell by the VIN what it has?

Surely can, my friend. 3.73's front and you'll be happy to know there are 3.73's in the rear as well.

Speaking of your truck, they are now sticking a "Blue-tec" emblem on the back of the 6.7 trucks and charging an extra $995 for it.

It's what Mercedes calls their 3.0 diesel with emissions. The only thing I can figure is after the divorce somebody found a room full of the emblems and figured a way to make more money off of them. When you look on the window sticker it say something about Blue-tec exhaust and then lists all the stuff that comes standard on every 6.7 we have and then charges an extra 995 dollars for it. So we figure the emblem must be cast from gold or something.

Thats where I grew up (in Wilkesboro, not Empire Chrysler)...Lived there most of my life till I moved to Murfreesboro in September of '06.

Yea, that's where I got it.
It was either there or at STM over at Hickory.
They had the same truck color wise, but 5.9 and 4 speed auto.
Bought the truck I got for the same money that they wanted for the 5.9
