Little back ground. Last year I bought a non working 1975 70 hp. I replaced the power pack, coils and rectifier. After that she fired right up. It did act like it had a miss hear and there but, most noticeable at higher RMPs.
So today I see what is happening, there is an occasional spark coming from the rectifier. I know that can't be good. Any ideas? Is there a danger to run the motor?
