Solas company unresponsive and non-caring

I ordered a Solas prop a few weeks ago and got a notice that the prop was backordered to mid December so I sent TWO emails to Solas company asking about what specific props that fit my outboard motor they had in stock and could ship soon. No reply after 4 or 5 days. Bear in mind there is no phone number for any kind of Solas contact so I go to two different Solas dealers to send emails on my behalf and after a week no reply to them either. (They wont even talk to their dealers ! )
Looks like I am moving on to another prop maker but I hate that they wasted 3 of my weeks.
I am not going to let them kill my whole summer.

Who did you order the prop from because it seems Solas props are only sold by online retailers and dealers?

When ordering ANYTHING that has you dead in the water, from a dealer or a distributor, I've found you are nearly always WAY further ahead placing the order by phone, with a request to see if they have it in stock. This allow for far fewer back order "surprises".
