Gonna order some smart tabs for my 2000 Cobalt 206. Looking through the application chart and see that they prefer them to be mounted not too far inside the outer hull line. Problem is on my Cobalt the middle portion of the transom is recessed and I dont see how they could be mounted outside that recessed area. Anyone install these on similar hull design? Plan on calling the company as well but wondered if anyone here has encountered this before.
