I have a few small L-shaped (1/2 in) tears in my swim platform pad
Can anyone recommend from experience? Is permatex my best option?
thx

We bought one of those repair kits that come with a heating iron. After a few tests a repair was made that can't be seen on a few small tears. I would strongly suggest going that route for a permanent good looking repair.

After 20+ years in the Army, that response made me chuckle. We fixed everything from tents to rotor blades with duct tape.:D

You wouldn't catch MacGyver without it and he got out of some tricky situations... :D :D

I have used the repair kits and they work great.

I found a site that sells duct tape in many different colors - so I bought brown to match our upholstery. I am a master taper now. And we found out that we will recover our back to back seats instead of getting new captains chairs. Duct tape to the rescue!

For the small pinholes from fishing hooks -- I use tearaid B for vinyl and it works great.
