I have a 1985 40 hp johnson model # J40ELCO. I have been having to adjust all the linkage due to wear. I have got motor running good now but when you take off its a little slugish. Once its up and running everything is fine.My question is: When throttle cam starts moving forward should the Advance timing start moving in synce? or should one or the other move first? Thanks
