Does anyone know where one can find the ends of the cables for the older Simplex shift/accelerate system? Tried the Evinrude website, but no luck. Ebay only sells the whole control box and cables, but they are in the the $100-$200 range.
What I am specifically looking for is the set screws and insert for the throttle at the engine, and the set screw/insert for the shift cable. Have good working cables but no gear to hold the wire tight. Also, the clip at the end of the throttle cable for holding it on the throttle. 1973 40 hp Evinrude Horseman. Thanks.
