No it didn't. I replaced the fuel filter before I started it, and it died 2 or 3 times because of air in fuel from filter change. Never got it to clear up because belt started squealing and at the time didnt know which pulley was seized.

It's definitely time for a new impeller at the very least but it would be best to buy the whole kit which would include the housing as well as it appears there's some scarring on the edge of the impeller which typically means the housing is affected too.

If I recall correctly forum member AllDodge showed a demonstration that 'that design of impeller corrects itself even if installed in reverse order so typically it shouldn't cause to much of an issue on healthier/more pliable impellers should the engine had started dieseling (running backwards) at shut off....(< That's as long as the impeller didn't get a blade or 2 stuck in a water passage hole). Your impeller does not appear to be in all that great of shape though.

That mentioned, knowing the pulley turns to the right when facing the engine, the impeller should be turning to the left when facing the rear of the impeller so it looks to be turning correctly to me.

This says Rotation is counter clockwise (looking at it from the rear, so the pulley turns to the right like what was previously mentioned

So that means this is right? Even if it does correct itself i would still like to do it right from the start. I'm starting to get my directions confused haha

Thanks everyone. Thanks for the picture info AllDodge, I'm posting from a phone, that's probably why I'm having a hard time, ha.
