Hello,
I have a 14ft Quachita semi-v bottom that I am just starting to work on. The issue I have is the seams are leaking in some areas. What is the best way to reseal the seams on the bottom and stern? I am going to cover the bottom in Fasco Super Slick which sould seal most very small leaks. I also would like to do something with the drain plug which is in the bottom (second picture)? With the size of the boat 14ft x48" (bottom), would a casting deck in the front cause any stability issues? One last question, the boat was a boat used on a lake by the airforce base near my house ( actually has a USN serial number on the side of the boat). They removed 2 seats and made supports for 1 deat. When they did they actually drilled hole in the side and used 1/4 " bolts to hold them in place. 4 holes on either side of the boat are below the waterline. How would be the best way to repair these?
Thanks
Kenny
