scotch brite pads for botton of toon

I'm trolling thru the web about these pads and they make a lot of different kinds. Has anyone tried them with the boat in the water? I'm going to try them and see if they do a better job than the scrub brushes.
Scrub brushes do a pretty good job but they also miss a lot of small stuff.

Scotch brite pads work great. attach it on pole sander.
