Ring end gap

1989 Force 125 1251X9B


Got conflicting numbers out of Seloc manual for ring end gap.


1989 says .006 end gap. But then below that it says 1989 thru 199* .006 top ring and .012 bottom ring.

do you happen to know what the gap should be? right now, without doing anything to them, the new rings are gapped just over .006

Top ring - 0.010 - 0.020
Bottom Ring - 0.006 - 0.016

I asssume yours is a 1989B from the model number ending in 9B

Thanks, all were correct motor all back together allready. Just have to re-mount the powerhead, controls, and keep my fingers crossed that it starts.
