I am rebuilding a 67 60hp evinrude 60753 type II ignition distrbutor battery. The wiring harness was all melted when I got it so I had to make a new one. No problem except the one wire that goes from the coil to the key switch needs to be a resistor wire which I am having a hard time finding. The manual said a car coil with an internal resistor could be used without the resistor wire but I don't know which one would work. I would like to find the wire.<br />.
