I noticed that the shift cable bellows is split on my 1999 alpha one gen 2 drive. While there, I will probably change the lower shift cable. I see Sierra, GLM, Quick Silver, and others offer this cable. Now confused concerning which one to use. Has anyone formed any opinions as to which brand is best, or are they all the same? Would appreciate recommendations. thanks

Get the OEM cable. It's teflon coated and works much better and lasts a lot longer than any aftermarket cable. Well worth the few extra bucks over the low cost aftermaket ones.

^^^+1 In almost all cases OEM is the better quality and the wiser choice long term.
