reman 4.3 issues

Heres an odd question, I have a reman 4.3 I'm ready to install in my boat, There is no plug in the new block to seal off the original dipstick tube location as the original block had. I tried to beat on it with a punch, but it wouldn't budge. Is there a replacement, do I need to beat harder or what??

anyone? I'm gonna put it in today so hopefuly it's something I can still access. Otherwise it's getting the JB weld dumped in it.
