After heavy storms apparently a significant amount of water is in the tank. Engine starts than stalls immediately. Is it best to pump out bad gas? What type of pump should I use? Sea Ray 17' Bowrider 1993. 135 HSP, Alpha gen 2. Yes, I have a water separator, however I think there may be a signficant amount of water. The automatic float switch on bilge pum was not connect to power and did not work, the entire bilge area filled to the top. Also water was under the deck from bow including the entire 16' gallon gas tank was submerged. I'm not exactly sure but before storm I gas meter read 1/2 tank, post storm 5/8 almost 3/4. M
Thanks

Ayuh,........

An inexpensive Automotive Electric Fuelpump can be plumbed into your Fuel Line,+ extended to a suitable container...........

Did any water get into the motor? Better check the oil for milky appearance.
