I just purchased a project Sea Ray with a Mercruiser outdrive. Actually, it's a SE-116 (Sterndrive Engineering). I was finally able to get the motor cranked yesterday and I noticed water dripping out of the cable end on top of the engine. The cable appears to be froze up and will need to be replaced, but I was wondering why the water was coming out of the cable. Thanks, Steven
