I have a 60hp Evinrude (E60TLEOC) that the powerhead is blown on so I am looking for a replacement engine. I came across an Evinrude SPL 48 but would like to keep power tilt and trim and of course the 48 does not have it due to being a SPL. Is it possible for me to take the tilt and trim from the 60 and put it on the 48?
I have not seen the 48 SPL in person yet so may be an obvious answer, however, I did not want to waste anyone's time looking at it if it was not possible. I am unsure of the year of the 48 if that makes a difference.
