Dose the pulse limiter valve Black or Blue one, is there a screen inside cant find a good picture

It's more like a disc than a screen.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Motor idles good runs great up to about 1800 rpm cannot get over that to plain boat like running out fuel sometimes this happens and the next time it runs great sometimes the motor will surge after getting up on plain after running engine all day have no problems still has the original VRO trying to pinpoint fuel or ignition

Step one...compression test.
Step two...open air gap spark test set to 7/16"
Step 3...fuel sample into clear jar, even if it's brand new.

Report back on those. All are a must.

Step 4...if no alarms are sounding run the motor on a known good portable tank and fuel line. Did that solve issue? If no, have someone continually squeeze the bulb while running, does this help?

The pulse limiter is a " flow fuse " it closes when too much air is flowing though it.-----Protects the airmotor housing should there be a backfire in the crankcase.

Checked gas, spark compression all good Looked at plugs somewhat black checked the ohms of each plug read 30 ohms the plugs I used last year 120 ohms Checked new plugs 115 ohms that?s from center electrode to spark plug wire end interesting ,found a new plug did not read took it back to store . Going to check charging system next few days Thanks !!!
