I have a 1983 Johnson 35hp ELCTS....seems like the engine wiring is brittle and I have been patching it ..
There is a guy that has a harness New in box with part #583135..I can not find it in the parts locator on BRP....the person does not know what year or HP the harness is from...
can any one help me find the above info so I can see if it will work for me....
My original harness seems to have a problem of the sheathing just rotting in spots even under the taped areas...
The newer listings for parts have 7 digits..this one has 6 so it may be in older parts books...it is a red plug.....
The part is not local so I can not match it up
