My experience with this type design is that the older boats tend to be narrow beam, which is a fancy way of saying "tippy". If going for this style, the wider the boat, the better you're going to like it, especially if you are like me and of the age where you aren't as steady on your feet as you used to be. Grab rails located in handy positions a bonus!
