Old trolling motor

I might have asked about this before but this time
I'm going to try pictures!
My Neighbor asked Me to try and find info about this
Pioneer electric trolling motor.
The tag reads; Pioneer
6-12 volt
Ser. No. P1606
Middlebury Indiana

Peter Hunn says they might have been made by Min-Kota and
"Private Labeled". But He didn't know the year.
Any help will be appreciated. Or a web site for vintage electric trollers.
Now to try the pictures.
