Hi All,

Is it safe to use 4-year old 2-stroke Quicksilver TC-W3 oil stored in factory sealed 1L bottles in a 90 ELPTO?
I bought way too much of it back in summer 2009 and although it's been fine so far just wondering how long more it can still last w/o causing more wear & tear to the OB compared to recently produced oil.

Many thanks in advance,

Dmitriy

I think the stuff they sell at the local hardware store is at least that old. I'd use it without reservation.

It has had a shelf life of several million years, so far. I am sure it is okay to use.
