In the Cobra you can use Mercruiser/Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube
I've used it in mine for 20 years with good results.

go to NAPA and they can measure the belts you have
buy two new belts.

look at your picture. that belt will take longer to crack the beer and grab the wrench than it will take to pull the belt.

hell no. run good fuel. removing the carburetor will never ever ever ever keep it from guming up.
