This spring I removed all the old oil from my VRO oil tank to (a) inspect for water contamination and (b) replace the filter inside the tank.

I didn't see any water, and let it sit in a clear plastic jug for a few days and no water settled out. Is there any reason I can't go ahead and use this oil? It was fresh last fall, about 3 quarts of good quality TCW3 (either Quicksilver or Castrol, can't remember).

It would take me several years to use up this oil in my other two stroke motors, plus it's TCW3 and not really optimal for air cooled string trimmers, etc. I really hate to waste it for no good reason. I could use it with my 2 stroke kicker, but again, this would be several seasons of fuel because I only use it a couple days a year for trolling for salmon.
