Re: New to me 5.0L cobra drive. need help!
I've been out of commission. I broke/dislocated my wrist.
Good news: I got the marine starter in and it turns over fine.( not seized up)
Took the valve cover off and it looked really nice and clean.
Cranked the motor a few times and oil was circulating around the engine.
Bad news: I did not find any spark.
Carbs need to be rebuilt.
So the motor did not start up.
I have a lot of work still left.
I'll have pictures up soon.
