:welcome: papabatman. Nice you joined us...

Is there a HIN on the upper right hand side of the transom? There is usually a HID (Hull Identification Number) attached to the outside upper right hand section of the transom. If there is not one there, then the boat was either built before they were required ( I think in the early 70's) or somebody removed it. Any how, if you can't find the specs for that hull, you could go by other boats close to that style and size for their specs. JMHO

In my world a 14' aluminum boat like you are describing is going to be maxed out with 4 ppl and certainly nothing bigger than a 25 hp and a 14' boat with a 25 is mr. toads wild ride!

Welcome aboard. Nice lookin' boat.

It looks like something outta' the late 60s, but who knows? :noidea: It'll hold 4, but you'll wanna' be careful with that load. With gear, you're probably sneaking up on the weight limit (if not exceeding it). She'll feel cozy and loaded with three on board for a fishing trip. Should still plane, but won't feel like you're going fast enough to be home before suppers cool. But with two guys, lunch and gear ... it oughtta' scoot along nicely.

Looks real similar to an old FeatherCraft 12 foot "V" bottom I once refurbished, I had a 9.8 Mercury on it and it was a fun boat.

That's very nice looking boat. Saying 4 people max all depends on the size of them. 4 linemen or DB's? I would say 2 would be comfortable, 3 max.

Nice looking boat you have there. It is not a real wide and deep model so you will want to limit your self to 3 people and probably about 18-20 hp as a max. as it has a small knee to support the transom. It appears to be an older boat with some fresh paint on her. As long as she floats good and serves your purpose then you have a good buy. I hear the Honda ob are great motors. Have a safe boating season.

You can use this to figure out what is safe. It take a bit of noodling to get through it, but should give you all the info you would want to know.
