Hey guys! Just got a 16' Carolina Skiff with a 93 Honda 45 4 stroke engine. It had been sitting for a couple of year owned by an elderly man so some catch up stuff had to be done. Had all fluids changed, spark plugs, carbs redone and new water pump put in. Ran it over 2 hours fine today and right as I was heading in, overheat alarm started going off. Was not pumping water out pee hole since leaving shop but my mechanic said it should clean itself out wehen in water and as long as alarm wasnt going off was not a big deal. Its back at shop now and hes checking it for blockage and is checking thermostat first also. Any feedback on this engine?
