I just bought this boat, brought it home put it on the water it ran great then started getting warm, No water circulating through the engine turned it off and rowed back to the dock. Long story short, I'm guessing i need a new impeller. The problem is that i need to id the tailhousing?. The top mercruiser serial number reads 5361696, the silver one is unreadable except for a 5 at the beginning,it's located about the middle under a mercruiser plate. then i have a lower one that says 5358498 and also 1.98R. I need guidance on where to find a manual to do work and repair, also some sort of model number so i can search for parts. So numerous questions, i am hoping for some help. Thanks in advance to everyone that throws in their 2 cents. This is my first boat that i personally own and i am somewhat mechanically inclined as i have rebuilt motors for cars and work on cars regularly on the side, so i think i'm up to the new adventure.
