need a new boat cover

Just got the cover that came with the boat back from the upholstery shop a week ago. Dont know how old it is, but they patched up some tears and waterproofed it. Been raining the past few hours and i noticed water coming out of the drain hole. Sure enough, water is getting through the cover. I dont know if it was a poor scotchguarding job or the cover is just old and worn.
Was looking at a cover made by Attwood to replace it. Anybody have one, or recommend a good one at a decent price?

Re: need a new boat cover

Go right here thru iBoats. They can range from $59 to probably $700. I've heard Sharkskin is a good cover, but I don't know from personal experience.

Get something that is water resistant, not water proof. It needs to be vented so it can breathe. It's up to you on whether or not you need one for towing as well.

I would plan on spending close to $400 for a decnet cover that will last for years if taken care of properly.

Scotchguard needs to resprayed on fabrics. It doesn't last a very long time outdoors.
