Are you sure it's OMC??? Chris used to marinize their own engines with CC accessories, and manuals.
People these days don't seem to know what a "library" is. Every library I've ever been in has at least some outboard, I/O and inboard service manuals. Some good ones, some bad ones, and some that are pretty beat up. All of them have GM service manuals for older Chevy engines that will serve well in a pinch. That doesn't help with the transmission/outdrive but an engine manual is better than no manual at all (as someone has so aptly pointed out).
If your 307 engine is original from 1974, it would have been produced by Chris Craft, who built their own engines well into the 80's. Post some pictures and we may be able to confirm.
Regarding a manual, check out this link: http://www.ccmanuals.com/engine.htm
Yup, that looks like the 307 Chris Craft engine to me. Just a reminder that this is an OMC forum,
