i see small vents(slits) like on a 67 mustang, very small slits, looks like a suction cup would stick, and they are on both sides as it looks like ear muffs may cover both of them. I was looking for big intakes(i guess i forgot i only had 120hp down stream.)

Speed control is a lost cause, i would love to rebuild it, may have to suck it up and just by a new one, with trim controls.

Why rebuild it, when it's not the right one for the boat? The proper one for the boat doesn't have built-in trim controls. You'd have to do a lot of rewiring to fit a new one, and the cables still might not have the right mechanical advantage. The one on Ebay will probably go for less than $50.

I guess my bad then.... from your 2nd picture i only see 1 line from my house.... if there is in fact 2 lines per cylinder (so 4 total) then you do infact have power trim.
