hi, just bought a 8.o hp, 4 stroke, johnson, it is a bombardier. the id plate has not been stamped , it only has "squiggles" in green were the model and serial info should be. it has not been tampered with, i work with video jet printers and this was put on by a machine. i believe it to be a 2004. can anyone tell me why this is and how i can id this motor so i can service it correctly. thanks in advance for any help
