Ok, took the boat out to my mechanic today, he says compression is good, but the right power head is heating up as much as 20 deg more than the left. He thinks is the poppet valve, or thermostat. I noticed that the poppet valve housing is not as I've seen in other motors. The housing seems "imcomplete". You know how the housing have (from an outsideview) a larger circle where the actual valve sits, then another smaller circular piece just to the left of the larger one, ussualy where the water inlet sit. Whell that smaller circular piece is absent. Is this right? Is it suppossed to be like this?
Everything else is fine.
Thanks.
