Merc SPX or CDI MEDS? Which is better?

As the title describes, for any of you who work on the newer Merc stuff, which system would you prefer to have in your shop and why? I was looking at the MEDS system, and it seems like a viable option because I can load it onto my laptop, and it covers the FICHT and E-tec stuff too. Opinions?

The Merc CDS system is dealer only and cannot be purchased by a independent, the MEDS system is pretty good but on the OMC/BRP side it is like Version 3.1 you can look but can change or write information the the EMM..
